Blackcap and Long Tailed Tits
Blackcap and Long Tailed Tits
The Blackcap was very aggressive toward other species approaching feeders placed in the hedgerow and is in the process of launching an attack on the small Tit flock that had just arrived on its patrol along the hedge. Unlike other species that feed then move off again, it remains close to its food source from early morning until late afternoon when it moves to its overnight roosting site only to return again next day. This is its likely tactic for the period of cold weather currently being experienced.
