Drury Hill, 1967 - 2
Drury Hill, 1967 - 2
Drury Hill, a very narrow street of intriguing little shops which ran from Bridlesmith Gate down to the old Broad Marsh bus station, was demolished to make way for the Broad Marsh shopping centre. This photograph, taken from near the junction with Garnett Hill, which ran up to Weekday Cross, stars a middle-aged man with a very sixties canary-yellow v-neck, a Vauxhall Viva, a sit-up-and-beg Ford Popular and a Ford Prefect.
