Landing incident at Birmingham Airport
Landing incident at Birmingham Airport
View from the observation lounge NW over the apron towards the North end of the runway. A plane has just landed and stopped on the runway (in SP1784), and been surrounded by fire engines. All appeared to turn out OK, but the airport was effectively shut for about 30 minutes. I never did find out what caused the emergency.
