NT2165 : Snowscape in the Pentlands

taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Juniper Green, Edinburgh, Great Britain

Snowscape in the Pentlands
Snowscape in the Pentlands
Almost daily snowfalls since before Christmas have brought more snow to the Pentland Hills than for many years, turning normally easy walks into exhausting treks. Well-trodden paths such the one between Bonaly and Flotterstone, which would normally be seen somewhere around this point, are completely obliterated from view. This shot looks south towards Turnhouse Hill and Carnethy Hill.
