Oban Harbour
Oban Harbour
The fishing boat about to dock is INS 149 Vernal.

INS is the code for Inverness which does not have a fishing fleet, so this boat's home port is probably on the East Coast of Scotland.

Usually the codes correspond with the first and last letter of the Port, such as WY for Whitby or SH for Scarborough, sometimes they are the first two letters of the Port, such as BU for Burntisland.

Most of the vessels in the picture will have been decommissioned now.
