Fresh-fallen snow at Crosshill during "The Big Freeze" of 2010. This was quite a heavy fall for this part of south Ayrshire, which usually enjoys soft, mild winters. Our 2008 snowfall was about 2cm on 4 January, which lasted only 12 hours or so - see NS3206 : A Rare Drop Of Snow
