SD7441 : Steps to Clitheroe Castle

taken 8 years ago, near to Clitheroe, Lancashire, Great Britain

Steps to Clitheroe Castle.
Steps to Clitheroe Castle.
On the North easterly side of the castle, on the right of the picture, are the beginnings of the steps leading up to Clitheroe Castle. The Castle and its flag pole can be seen faintly at the top of the photo. The lighting effect is not my camera it's the new lighting system they have for the grounds and Castle. The Castle is built on a ancient limestone reef that was once part of a sea since long gone. We are but a twinkling of an eye in the aeons of time. The time this picture was taken was 5.05pm on Wednesday 06/01/2010. Star date I have no idea!
