ST7790 : Above Alderley

taken 8 years ago, near to Alderley, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

Above Alderley
Above Alderley
The road to Tresham has climbed Winner Hill and continues to climb steadily up the ridge south of Ozleworth Bottom. The field on the left partly occupies the shelf that is a feature of the Cotswold scarp in these indented valleys. A steeper section of the same field (seen right of centre) appears in ST7890 : Alderley Wood; again Alderley Wood occupies the steeper slopes on the far side.
