How much snow did you have where you were? That has been a frequently asked question, prone to exaggeration, so I put this ruler upright in the snow on my drive. Of course it was deeper where it was drifting, and on the north side of the house, and ...! The tree in the background must be eleven inches tall because the top three inches are visible in the picture.
