Roedean School
Roedean School
Opened in 1885 in a house in Kemp Town by three sisters the school moved to this purpose built site in 1899 and has been operating here ever since except for a brief period during the Second World War when the pupils were evacuated to the Lake District and the building requisitioned by the navy becoming HMS Vernon in the process, This is the not so common rear view of the school taken from Cattle Hill during a snow shower.
