Converted Short Boat at Greenberfield Locks
Converted Short Boat at Greenberfield Locks
The Short Boat was the standard craft on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, where the locks are wide, but not long enough for a full-length narrow boat. The converted short boat is really roomy, but sadly cannot at present reach the waterways of Southern England without either being transported over land, or making the risky passage across The Wash.
