TQ2607 : Fifth Hole, Benfield Valley Golf Course

taken 14 years ago, near to Mile Oak, Brighton And Hove, England

Fifth Hole, Benfield Valley Golf Course
Fifth Hole, Benfield Valley Golf Course
With the short fairway for the sixth beyond. Once part of West Hove Golf Course until the construction of the by-pass split that course in two and caused it to relocate to the valley below to the east. Benfield Valley Golf Course was set up as a 9 hole course utilising some of the former fairways and has five south of the A27 and four to the north on Benfield Hill which is also a local nature reserve. The view from this hole takes in the suburb of Hangleton immediately below then beyond to the seafront at Hove in the distance.
