Sledging Bull Banks
Sledging Bull Banks
Below Bowes Castle is a favourite playspot. Mill falls lie below for hot summer days, but for winter ones, this is the best sledging in the area. The slopes are also home to many moles, and scanning the molehills can be rewarding if you have an interest in Roman pottery or coins as these slopes lie immediately below the Roman settlement of Lavatris.
