The Clyde Walkway near Lower Carbarns
On various occasions, I followed the Clyde Walkway (in stages) all the way from Glasgow to Bonnington Linn (NS8840 : Looking north over Bonnington Weir), which is upstream of New Lanark.

This section of the route, between Adder's Gill and Garrion Bridge, can occasionally flood, but there is an alternative seasonal route which bypasses it.

Lower Carbarns Farm is just out of shot, to the right; see NS7753 : Lower Carbarns Farm, which was taken from the same spot (in fact, there is a slight overlap between the two photos).
