Eanam Canal Wharf Blackburn
Eanam Canal Wharf Blackburn
Photo taken from pedestrian canal bridge, of the Eanam Wharf - part of which is a pub - on the Leeds and Liverpool canal as it winds its way through this former cotton town of Blackburn. On the sky line to the right can be seen the former Appleby Street Corn Mill, which would have received the product from horse drawn barges. Long gone are the echoes of thousands of clogs on the old towns former cobbled streets.
