The Clyde Walkway near Cardies Bridge
The Clyde Walkway near Cardies Bridge
As noted at NS7852 : The Clyde Walkway passing East Lodge, this section of the Clyde Walkway leaves the side of the river.

However, at the signpost at Cardies Bridge (NS7951 : Signpost for the Clyde Walkway, Cardies Bridge), the walkway makes a turn to the south, heading through the woods for a distance of about 400 metres, to meet up again with the Clyde.
