An Iron Age hillfort on the crest of the Cotswold scarp, which provides a natural defence on the western side - see ST7684 : Trees on Horton Hill. This bank is the north-eastern defence, and forms the route for the Cotswold Way. A detailed description is at LinkExternal link .
