Frozen Strathclyde Loch
Frozen Strathclyde Loch
Formerly an area of haughs - ponds and pools on the Clyde's floodplain, this was flooded in the 1970s to create a man-made watersports loch. The cold snap of December 2009/January 2010 left it frozen with a couple of inches of snow on top. Buoys and footprints can be seen!
