Which route up the Hill?
The sign at the bottom of the infamous Porlock Hill. Take the free, short (but steep route), or the longer, gentler toll road?
Porlock
Porlock is a small village on the A39 at the foot of the infamous Porlock Hill. The village is below Exmoor and has views over Porlock Bay. The village has a good range of services, mostly geared toward tourists. A recent survey identified that the village has the most elderly population in the country.
