Martinhoe: Lynton & Barnstaple Railway
Closed in the 1930s, this narrow-gauge line has been revived with a new base at Woody Bay station by the A39 Lynmouth Barnstaple road and is due to open services to Killington Lane, near Parracombe, this summer (2006). Here Statfold, a new locomotive built by Hunslet in 2005, propels its train into Woody Bay station. Looking north-north-west.
