SP2477 : Berkswell Station

Berkswell Station
Berkswell Station
Platform architecture similar to other stations on the route between Coventry and Birmingham. As discussed in SP1685 : Marston Green Station, many stations retained level crossings into the 70s. However to accommodate the increased services following Birmingham International opening, signalling alone could not help.

In the case of Berkswell, the level crossing was replaced with road tunnel underneath SP2477 : Railway bridge by Berkswell station. Platform architecture has also changed SP2477 : Berkswell Railway Station Platform.
