Huddersfield Branch railway viaduct, from the Broad Canal
Huddersfield Branch railway viaduct, from the Broad Canal
This shows the viaduct of the ill-fated Midland Railway's Huddersfield branch, part of an abortive attempt by the Midland company to penetrate the West Riding's woollen district. Taken from the Huddersfield Broad Canal, the lock gate visible belongs to Ladgrave Lock No 3.
