West Moors, Railway Cottage
West Moors, Railway Cottage
What appears to be a former level crossing keeper's cottage, shown on old OS maps as Newman's Lane Crossing, on the Salisbury to Dorset Branch line. The railway ran to the left of the cottage, under the location of the present power lines, opening in 1866 and closing in 1965. LinkExternal link
