taken 41 years ago, near to Birmingham, Great Britain

Snow Hill Station (panorama)
Snow Hill Station (panorama)
View from 'relay room' (not a signal-box according to other websites) at north of station, with Livery Street on our right. Building on left (in full view) is the Birmingham Post & Mail building on Colmore Circus Queensway.

The only current-day photo I can find on geograph showing skyline is SP0687 : Kinlet Hall at Snow Hill - ie see BP&M building above the smoke.
