A couple of small tents sit behind the beach - providing shelter for the team marshalling the landfall for the 2007 International World Adventure Race, which was coming ashore here after paddling across the sea from Rum in a strong, cold northerly and choppy waters. The first of the sea kayaks are already pulled up, and a couple more are just about visible landward of the rocky islet.
