Hunts Lock near Fradley, Staffordshire
Trent and Mersey Canal, Lock No 15. This is the bottom lock of a flight of five enabling the canal to descend past Fradley Junction (Coventry Canal). This lock lowers the level by 5ft 8in ( about 1.7 metres).

The canal was started in 1766, open here and as far as Derwent Mouth by 1770, and completed north-westwards to Preston Brook by 1777.
