Ice in the Burn of Burrafirth
Ice in the Burn of Burrafirth
The long freeze over Christmas and New Year has been followed by a very strong southerly gale. The wind has smashed the ice that covered the Loch of Cliff into chunks, which have then been blown to the north end of the loch and the loch's outflow, where they were slipping out along the burn and out to sea.
