Denmark Street
Denmark Street
Viewed here at its junction with Charing Cross Road.

During the 1950s and 1960s, many music publishers and songwriters were based in Denmark street leading it to be referred to as "The British Tin Pan Alley". Although the publishers have now moved on, the street still has a high proportion of shops dealing in musical instruments
