The engine of a plane wreck lies, partially visible, in the waters of the lake.

Update 6th June 2010 - this is a Hercules radial engine from a Bristol Beaufighter, (registered TF.X RD210), which crashed on the 10th of February 1945. It was based at RAF Pershore. The two crew were killed, the pilot, Flying Officer A L Roe (RAAF) and Warrant Officer Newby. (Many thanks to Chris Andrews for this information)
