NT2440 : Goosanders on the Tweed

Goosanders on the Tweed
Goosanders on the Tweed
A group of three males and two females near the Fotheringham footbridge in Hay Lodge Park. I was able to watch them for a good 10 minutes, concealed by a convenient tree close by. Their beaks have a distinctive downward-turned point at the tip, and have serrated edges, so they are classed as sawbills.
