Diesel train at Clapham Junction
Diesel train at Clapham Junction
This two-car diesel unit is working the hourly service over the West London line to Willesden Junction. This service, which was a development of the one-train-per-day service between Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia, run for postal workers but unadvertised, has now become a regular half-hourly London Transport Overground electric service, stopping at new or rebuilt stations at West Brompton, Imperial Wharf, and Shepherd's Bush as well as Kensington Olympia. It is a very well-used service, and would operate even more frequently, but pathing constraints have, to date, prevented this.
