Evolution House, Kew Gardens
This glass house shows the evolution of plants. It has some real plants which are examples of early plant forms, and some models based on fossils. It is a prefabricated aluminium alloy structure built in 1952 as a gift from the Australian government, and originally housed Australian plants.
