TQ3079 : Snow in Parliament Square

taken 8 years ago, near to Westminster, Great Britain

Snow in Parliament Square
Snow in Parliament Square
Snow doesn't often lie on the ground for long in central London. This was taken at around 1pm. Churchill appears to have a mild dandruff problem. Behind him, Field-Marshal Smuts and Palmerston also have a light dusting.
The buildings in the background are the former Middlesex Crown Court (1912-13, by J.G.S. Gibson & Partners, Grade II* listed) which last year opened for business as the UK's Supreme Court, and the east end of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' headquarters (1896-98, Alfred Waterhouse, Grade II listed).
