NJ8812 : Railway Bridge over Farburn Terrace, Dyce

taken 8 years ago, near to Dyce, Aberdeen, Great Britain

Railway Bridge over Farburn Terrace, Dyce
Railway Bridge over Farburn Terrace, Dyce
The bridge carries the Aberdeen to Inverness rail line over Farburn Terrace. Only a single span is in place at present, but the abutment allows for doubling of the track in the future. The original double track was singled in the late 1960s, but the single-track section between Aberdeen and Dyce is now a significant limitation to operations.
