SN7763 : Forestry snow damage

taken 9 years ago, near to Pen-y-Bwlch [hill or Mountain], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Forestry snow damage
Forestry snow damage
Although much of the snow has thawed, the fresh surfaces of the broken tree trunk and the fact that there is snow under the collapsed tree suggest that the tree has collapsed under the weight of the recent snow. There were a number of trees affected along the forestry track north of Bwlch Rhyd-y-Meirch.
