The End of the Red Lion
The End of the Red Lion
The Red Lion at the junction of Clark Way and Manchester Road is closed. Work has been carried out which suggests it won't ever reopen as a pub but is likely to be used as retail premises or offices. See how it looked in August 2009, shortly after closure SJ9495 : Red Lion, Hyde or in September 2007 when still open from the opposite side of the road SJ9495 : Red Lion.

In September 2010 it opened as the office and showroom of the firm "Plastic Fantastic" SJ9495 : Plastic Fantastic.
