Egerton Bridge, Birkenhead
Egerton Bridge, Birkenhead
Preserved Scherzer rolling bridge. Inside there was evidence, as I recall, of at least three different operating systems - 1 hydraulic (incomplete) and two electric. The last time I was passing by with a group of friends we were refused admission as the only 'currency' that was acceptable was a ticket for the historic tram service!
