Pioneer Mill
Pioneer Mill
Situated at the northern end of Milltown Street and at a bend in the River Irwell, Pioneer Mill was built in 1905. It was one of the largest mills in Radcliffe. It ceased weaving in July 1980 (the last mill in the town to use cotton). The building is now rather dilapidated and is split into units occupied by several different businesses.
