Main entrance to what was the City School, Lincoln
I attended this school between 1955 and 1959. The first separate window to the right of the entrance was in the headmaster's office, a place of dread, because the only time the pupils were called into it was usually for a caning. The taller window at the far right was in a classroom. Pupils never used this main entrance, we came into the school at a door at the right of the building, opposite what was then the cattle market.
