SN8019 : Crossing the Afon Twrch

taken 12 years ago, near to Banwen Gwyn [other Features], Powys, Great Britain

Crossing the Afon Twrch
Crossing the Afon Twrch
This is the point where the bridleway from Llanddeusant to Glyntawe crosses the river. Although marked as a 'ford' on the 1:25,000 map, in reality there is no evidence of a track at this point, and crossing here is no easier than anywhere else along this stretch of the river.
