Site of RAF Pevensey Chain Home Radar Station
The four blocks to the right are the only remains of one of three transmitter towers that were built here in 1939 and put into storage in 1945 before being dismantled and the land sold in the 1950s. The building on the left is Pylons Cottages which were also part of the site having been built as married quarters for wardens. See LinkExternal link for more details. Viewed from Church Acre Drove.
