Hereford Cathedral (seen from King Street)
Hereford Cathedral (seen from King Street)
One of England's most magnificent cathedrals, it stands on the site of at least one earlier cathedral. The present building commenced in 1079, but was not fully completed until almost the middle of the 12th century. Since then it has been much altered, added to, parts demolished etc. as it to be expected with a building that is over 900 years old.
