Natural England Red Kite Information Board
Natural England Red Kite Information Board
Public notice explaining how the near extinct (to the UK) Red Kite was re-introduced close to this point during the late 1980's. There are now over 300 breeding pairs here and they can often be seen flying low over the M40 motorway between High Wycombe and Oxford. One of the most successful conservation stories of all time.
