UPM Caledonian Paper Mill
UPM Caledonian Paper Mill
The southern aspect of the huge pulp mill near Irvine. This is one of the largest consumers of electricity in Scotland, and it has its own power station. Electricity is generated using waste timber as fuel.
The road in the foreground looks as if it is an old alignment of the A78.
