SJ0843 : Footbridge piers

taken 9 years ago, near to Corwen, Denbighshire/Sir Ddinbych, Great Britain

Footbridge piers
Footbridge piers
The long uplifted Corwen to Rhuthun & Ddinbych railway line used to cross Afon Dyfrdwy here. There was a footbridge beside the railway bridge and these are the piers of that bridge. When the railway was uplifted all the piers were removed from the river. The railway ran into Corwen station on a line beside the Rhiwabon to Morfa Mawddach railway.
