Queen's Park
Queen's Park, Heywood was officially opened on 2 August 1879. It was originally 20 acres of land at the northern corner of the Heywood overlooking Crimble in the Roch Valley and stretched from the back of old Heywood Hall to within a few yards of the River Roch. It was extended by the addition of a further 22½ acres of land in 1923.
