The very top of the Yr Esgair ridge, Foel Goch
Yr Esgair is the sharp-edged ridge that looks so well in profile, high up on the side of Foel Goch, as you drive along the A5 beside Llyn Ogwen. It makes for a good scramble, and deposits you more or less right at the top of the hill. Here it's seen with the Braich Ty Du face on the west side of Pen yr Ole Wen in the background.
