Ben Macdui panorama from Carn a' Mhaim
Ben Macdui panorama from Carn a' Mhaim
Starting on the extreme left we have Srn na Lairig and the Lairig Ghru, then the Carn a' Mhaim north ridge in the foreground leading away to join the main Ben Macdui massif; the long ridge of the Sron Riach descends from the massif down across the picture towards the right. The dominant summit right of centre is Derry Cairngorm, with Bein Mheadhoin in the distance to its left, and the Beinn a' Bhuird plateau far away on the extreme right.
