An icy ribbon of path
An icy ribbon of path
After three weeks of snow followed by a thaw, paths are now covered in ice from the snow compressed underfoot, while the less dense snow either side has melted and evaporated. This route on the north bank of the Tweed links Wirebridge Cottage on the A72 with Peebles.
