Abbotts Hall Farm dyke in 2000
Abbotts Hall Farm was purchased by the Essex Wildlife Trust in 2000 as a working farm. Since then, the southern fields have been partially inundated to promote saltmarsh development and a more secure coastal boundary. This is one of the dykes in the southern part before the realignment.
